Code of conduct
ÅAES is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment for everyone. All participants in ÅAES events are expected to act respectfully and considerately toward others, regardless of personal characteristics such as appearance, gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other individual trait.
Expected Conduct
Participants should:
Treat everyone with courtesy and respect.
Listen and communicate politely, even when opinions differ.
Respect personal space and boundaries.
Ensure that their actions do not disrupt events or other participants.
Unacceptable Conduct
The following behaviors are not permitted at ÅAES events:
Verbal abuse, harassment, or disrespect toward any participant or organizer.
Intimidating, threatening, or violent actions.
Unwelcome physical contact.
Persistent disruption of presentations, workshops, or other activities.
Encouraging, promoting, or condoning any of the above behaviors.
Consequences
Participation in ÅAES events implies agreement to follow this Code of Conduct. Failure to comply may result in:
Immediate verbal warning.
Removal from the event.
Temporary or permanent exclusion from ÅAES events or activities, depending on the severity or recurrence of the behavior.
Reporting Issues
If you experience, witness, or have concerns about any unacceptable behavior:
Notify an ÅAES staff member or one of the designated contact persons.
Staff will be readily available to provide assistance, support, and ensure safety.
All reports will be handled respectfully, confidentially, and thoroughly. In serious cases, external authorities may be involved.
